Europlanet & INAF

ENGLISH VERSION

The Europlanet Society promotes the advancement of European planetary science and related fields for the benefit of the community and is open to individual and organisational members. Launched in September 2018, the Europlanet Society builds on the heritage of 15 years of Europlanet projects funded by the European Commission to provide Europe’s planetary science community with a platform to exchange ideas and personnel, share research tools, data and facilities, define key science goals for the future, engage stakeholders, policy makers and European Citizens with planetary science. In 2020, the Europlanet 2024 Research Infrastructure project was funded through the European Commission’s Horizon 2020 programme and runs for four years from February 2020 until January 2024.

INAF participates as a beneficiary of the Europlanet 2024 RI project.
INAF is also a partner of the Europlanet Society, hosting the Italian Regional Hub of Europlanet, that was established in October 2018 to promote planetary science and related fields for the benefit of the Italian and European community.

La Europlanet Society promuove lo sviluppo in Europa e nel mondo delle scienze planetarie e dei settori della conoscenza collegati, ed è aperta a individui e organizzazioni. Lanciata a Settembre 2018, la Europlanet Society è nata dall’eredità di 15 anni di progetti Europlanet finanziati dalla Commissione Europa per assicurare all’Europa una piattaforma per lo scambio di idee e personale, per la condivisione di strumenti, dati e infrastrutture, per definire gli obiettivi scientifici futuri, per coinvolgere stakeholders e i cittadini europei nelle scienze planetarie. Nel 2020, il progetto Europlanet 2024 Research Infrastructure  è stato finanziato dal programma Horizon 2020 della Commissione Europea e sarà attivo per 4 anni, da Febbraio 2020 fino a Gennaio 2024.

INAF partecipa come beneficiario del progetto Europlanet 2024 RI.
INAF è anche partner della Europlanet Society ospitando il Regional Hub Italiano di Europlanet, creato nell’Ottobre del 2018 per promuovere le scienze planetarie e i settori collegati, a beneficio della comunità italiana ed europea.
